Exploring Saskatoon by bike is fun, and we love to support winter activities with our rental fleet of fatbikes.
If you are fortunate enough to be traveling by air with your bike, we also have a rental fleet of bike boxes available to help your bike arrive safe and sound.
You don't have to own it! Renting is a great way to experience the joy of fatbiking without the commitment of purchasing one until you are ready.
We chose the versatile Rocky Mountain Blizzard -10 fatbikes for our rental fleet because they can be ridden in almost all locations and conditions. We have rental rates from half day to two weeks, and everything in between. With sizes from small to x-large, we have a rental bike to fit almost every rider.
Fatbike rentals are popular, so we recommend calling ahead to ensure bikes are available for your preferred dates.
You can pack it in a cardboard box, but your bike will love you more if it's cozy and safe!
We have a fleet of three hardcase bike boxes and three softcase bike bag that can be rented for any amount of time you need.
A bike box or bag is more durable and convenient than packing your bike in a cardboard box. It also provides an increased level of protection to ensure a better chance of your bike arriving at your destination unscathed.
Our bike boxes are popular rental items year-round! We recommend calling ahead as early as you can to ensure a box can be reserved for your preferred dates. Our rental rate is $25 per week (plus taxes).
Saskatoon has some amazing places to explore on a fatbike. Within the city, riders can explore the Meewasin trails, and those looking for a more off-road experience can explore a network of trails that exist below the Meewasin trail, closer to the water's edge. Visit the Meewasin valley website at meewasin.com to see their trail map.
Various off-road bike trail systems also exist outside of Saskatoon including areas such as Cranberry Flats, Blackstrap Provincial Park, Buffalo Pound Provincial Park, Little Red River Trails in Prince Albert, and the Wascana trails at Condie Reserve near Regina.
To learn more about trail options available, pop by our store. We are happy to help you plan your next trip.
