Specialized Bicycles

The Specialized Stumpjumper started it all in 1981 with the first mass produced mountain bike. Since then, Specialized has introduced a long string of innovative and cutting edge bikes that keep them on the cutting edge of mountain biking.

Now Specialized has mountain bikes for almost every  rider from the first time trail rider with the Rockhopper, to the endurance racer with the Epic to the all day trail rider with the Enduro platform.

Trek Bicycles

Trek Bicycles is one of the oldest bicycle manufacturers of the modern era and has always been at the forefront of innovation and consumer value. They were the first main stream company to bring out 29" wheeled bikes and now offer 29" for taller folks, and 27'5' wheels for smaller sizes.

The great thing about Trek is they have a bike for every rider and budget. The 820 provides amazing value for a bike to get you where you need to go without draining the bank account, and for the serious off-road ridere they have serveral platforms including the popular X-Caliber and Fuel.

Rocky Mountain Bicycles

Rocky Mountain Bicycles sold their first bike in 1982, but the founders of Rocky started earlier than that by modifying road style bikes in the back of their shop in 1978. Since then, this Canadian company has stayed at the front of the industry with iconic designs such as the Hammer, Blizzard, Vertex, Element, and  the more recent Altitude.

We are proud to sell mountain bikes from such a storied Canadian company. Their line has something for everyone and each and every bike comes with Rocky's legendary ride, quality and attention to detail.

Specialized, Trek, and Rocky Mountain  now have excellent fatbike offerings. The fatbike niche has really taken off in recent years and, around Saskatoon, they totally make sense. Rather than hibernating all winter, you can now enjoy the season with a comfortable and fun ride on the trails in and around Saskatoon.

Many of us have also taken to riding fatbikes to work in the winter. The wider tire provides more security and traction in the snow and even allows for a few shortcuts you wouldn't even consider trying on an ordinary bike.

Fatbikes are an option that many people are considering for their commuter bike.  Studded tires are now available for these bikes, allowing people to navigate icy roads.  Many people in Northern Saskatchewan are choosing fatbikes to ride through the challenging terrain in fields and forest trails.

Custom Wheel Building

Did you know we custom build mountain bike wheels? Our wheels our lighter and stronger than most of the big brand pre-built wheels available. The great thing is that you can totally customize the wheels to your riding style and even pimp them out with white spokes, or colored spoke nipples.

Take a look at the wheelset in the picture - this tubeless ready 29er wheelset built for a customer is only 1460g. That is an incredibly light wheel that beats the Mavic Crossmax by 290g, the Easton Haven carbon by 130g and Bontrager's lightest carbon wheelset by 55g. Pretty impressive considering that these cost less and use the heavier 15mm through-axle front hub. We have also built 26" wheelsets for mountain biking that have gone under the 1300g barrier!
